Handmade Christmas

Carrie:
So I thought I'd start off the week with both a project and a sentiment.  Thanks to both my upbringing and my Pinterest account, I know that you don't have to break the bank to make the kids happy.  This year, we are doing a lot of homemade gifts.

For the Neighbors: Homemade white bread mini loaves.  You can find the Recipe HERE

For Santa: Cinnamon rolls from scratch. You can find the Recipe HERE

From the Kids to the Kids: Handmade nicknacks/ornaments. You can find the Recipe HERE

For the kids:  At first, I was worried about it being a cheap alternative to a trip to Target (which I LOVE), but as things are shaping up, I think the kids will get a lot more use out of these and they mean more.  they may be less money, but it is a lot of work!

Here is the beginning of the dresser transformation into a dollhouse I am doing for the girls.  It has gone from this:

 To This:

And the entire thing cost me $40!
The kids have been playing with this constantly since Christmas.  --That and my Mom's Gift, which I'll let her post!
